Anxiety Attack Panic Symptom

Have you ever felt those very disturbing butterflies fluttering inside your stomach whenever you are going to take a very important exam, or maybe a job interview at a well known company? Does your heart pound heavily before a big presentation in a school program? If your answer’s yes, then you’re probably having an anxiety attack. Don’t fret! it’s normal. The brain sends different signals all over your body because it senses stress invading your systems. And as a physiologic response you get a little bit jittery before a big event takes place. Then after it, your body returns to its normal status. However, if your body still feels tense or scared after it and it is now disturbing your daily life activities; then it is time for you to consult a doctor or a therapist to control your anxiety problems.

Although it may be unpleasant, anxiety isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, anxiety can help us stay alert and focused, spur us to action, and motivate us to solve problems. It can even increase our learning skills and abilities. But when anxiety is constant or overwhelming, when it interferes with your relationships and activities—that’s when you’ve crossed the borderline from normal anxiety into the territory of anxiety disorders. Or even can lead you to your death.

Because the anxiety disorders are a group of related conditions rather than a single disorder, they can look very different from person to person. One individual may suffer from intense anxiety attacks that strike without warning, while another gets panicky at the thought of mingling at a party. Someone else may struggle with a disabling fear of driving or uncontrollable, intrusive thoughts. Still another may live in a constant state of tension, worrying about anything and everything. But despite their different forms, all anxiety disorders share one major symptom: persistent or severe fear or worry in situations where most people wouldn’t feel threatened.

Anxiety problems have different levels. The first level is what you call the mild anxiety. This kind of anxiety is one that we call the healthy kin of anxiety in which it can increase your level of intelligence and it increases your span of attention and thus makes you recall almost all the things you’ve prepared. The next level is the moderate anxiety. In which, your attention span is only focused to the goal that you have ahead. You will not notice anything around you when you are in this kind of state nor will you remember things that around you. Even your long-times crush will not enter your mind if he or she says hello to you. Next the severe anxiety level and then it leads to the panic anxiety, here the body totally losses control of everything. All vital signs of the patient skyrockets and if not treated immediately will cause the person’ own death.

So we have to know the common signs and symptoms of someone who is already experiencing these anxiety and panic attacks, and if they needed prompt medical interventions. Here are its signs and symptoms: pounding heart, sweating, stomach upset or dizziness, frequent urination or diarrhea, shortness of breath, tremors and twitches, muscle tension, fatigue and headaches, and insomnia.

Feeling anxious at times is quite normal so do not dwell on what you are feeling, instead, project yourself into more useful subjects, do something constructive, exercise, learn a skill or craft and escape the body trap. Learn how to fight that dreadful feeling and try focusing in a more positive outlook whenever you are doing something important. And don’t forget to say your prayers, believe me it really helps when you ask for guidance from the Big Man from up above.
