How much does it cost to see a therapist without cognitive behavioral policy? Help OCD?
I thought Therapeutic Research for my OCD-Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I do not currently have medical insurance, and wondered what kind of cool, I'd be looking for? So Is there any type of special programs to help people suffering from OCD get the treatment they need. I did not qualify for Medicaid or whatever whatsoever, but just curious if there was anything special there. Thank you! May God bless you!
Many therapists offer services on a sliding scale, which means that if you do not have much money even, they give you a discount. That said, prices can vary greatly a therapist to therapist and from city to city. The American Psychological Association has a page to help you find a psychologist in: http://locator.apa.org/ You can also consult the yellow pages and see what is in your area. Some places have websites, and may mention if they give discounts to people who need it. Otherwise, you can pay about $ 100 per hour for individual therapy or $ 30 per hour for group therapy.
